The Labyrinth
Labyrinths offer an opportunity to make an internal pilgrimage without traveling far. Inviting walking prayer and contemplation, the Labyrinth is a journey into deep connection to one's own heart, the heart of the world, and the heart of God. In the classic style, and cut from local stone, the St. James Labyrinth is a thin place in a busy world.
The Labyrinth was gifted for the garden by novelist Jan Karon in memory of her daughter, Candace Vreeland.
