The St. James Organ
The Rodgers Trillium 957, installed in 2004, uses hybrid pipe/digital technology for a richer sound than pipes or digital alone. The organ has 112 speaking stops distributed among 5 divisions. It is also equipped with an MX 200 Sound Module, which provides over 1000 additional and orchestral sounds.

Special Musical Guests
Organist and Choir Director Penny Rose often invites special musical guests to our 10:30am Sunday Service. We have been honored to host the Evergreen Community Charter School EMBE Marimba Band, pianist David Troy Francis, folk singers Mariam Matossian and Kate Campbell, gospel group PURPOSE, and local musicians violinist Janet Bloom, singers Mark and Elise Fuller, and singer Donna Marie Todd. Every Christmas we are thrilled to have professional harpist Michael Wills at our Christmas Eve service.

Children's Musical Involvement

The children of St. James sing during the service several times each year. Children with musical talent often sing the offertory or play the prelude throughout the year. They also regularly "read" the gospel and "preach" the sermon in dramatic form for the Family Service on Christmas Eve.
